Foundation Models identified the same checkout recovery gap and marked the retry copy as review-needed because the artifact cannot prove preserved cart state from evidence alone.

Moment 1 of 3: Timer frames the checkout as fragile
The user begins payment with a visible countdown and no advance explanation of recovery.
The visible countdown increases urgency before the interface explains what happens if payment fails.
Place the retry action directly beside the payment authorization error and keep it visually dominant until recovery starts.
Add short copy next to retry that states the cart and reservation are still held during payment recovery.
Before payment submission, say what happens if authorization fails before the timer expires.
